In 2012, the base of operations relocated to regional Victoria, with all tags printed and despatched from Bendigo. The range now includes NLIS sheep and goat tags, EID and visual management tags, stick readers, race readers, management crates and weighing systems. Shearwell Data have become leaders in the field of data collection and data transfer in the Australian livestock industry. The Shearwell sheep and goat tag range includes visual and EID, with 99.5% retention, tested durability with a one-piece design and laser-etched print. They are easy to apply and lightweight enough to be suitable from birth. Shearwell is QCSE – Quality Certified System ISO 9001:2015 and a Management Systems Certified Company. The Eartags Warehouse is excited to be able to offer our customers this option with their tagging requirements and look forward to working with Shearwell and livestock farmers to improve traceability and efficient livestock management.

The Enduro Tags Story Founded in 2011 by Dr. John Steinfort, Enduro Tags emerged to address a critical issue in livestock management: the inefficacy of traditional NLIS ear tags. Dr. Steinfort recognized that conventional round ear tags had a low retention rate and were prone to getting caught on objects, leading to frequent loss and the resulting challenges of retagging. This not only jeopardized lifetime traceability but also added unnecessary time and costs to farm operations. Driven by a commitment to resolve these problems, Enduro Tags invested years in rigorous research, development, trialing, and testing. The result was a breakthrough in tag design that achieved a remarkably high retention rate and set a new standard in NLIS farm management. This innovation quickly earned the trust and loyalty of farmers across the nation.
